Sign up for a PayPal account. God’s peace, kindness, and blessings. We’ll discover how to create and activate a PayPal account without a bank card in this post.
Since PayPal’s founding in 2002, the world of online shopping has been more safe, as PayPal has evolved into a worldwide means to pay and send money online conveniently and securely, and thankfully, electronic payments no longer require the use of a credit card.
PayPal is unique in that it allows users to perform their own financial transactions without exposing their bank card information, making it more secure than traditional payment methods.
In a country with an increase in the number of people working online, having a PayPal account is a must when it comes to receiving payments online.
You can use your PayPal account (usually your email account) instead of a credit card to make online purchases, make the payments you want, or receive money online.
So I wrote this article to help you start creating a PayPal account in Kenya right away, and confirming it as well so that you can send and receive money from anyone across the world.
How to open and activate a PayPal account
To open and activate a PayPal account, follow these steps:
- Visit PayPal.com on PC

You can visit a fake Visa website to learn about the best ways to obtain credit cards
And congratulations to you. You can now use PayPal inside your country or anywhere else around the world without any problem.
Now, as you can see, it is easy to open a PayPal account, but now let’s explore the above-mentioned steps in detail.
Step 1: Sign up for a PayPal account
Registration is free. However, you will need an accessible email account and a strong password, so I advise you to browse through these articles to learn how to create an email to use it.
Now just click on subscribe, and the following screen will appear.
Now you have a choice between an individual account and a business account.
I will always recommend choosing a single account at this time. There is still room to upgrade to a business account later.
Here is a brief overview of the individual and business account types:
Personal
Account: The Personal Account is for all people who buy online, receive money, or sometimes withdraw money from your card. This is best suited for basic use.
Business Account A business
the account is useful for companies or groups, where you can use PayPal in the name of your company, and there are more advanced features such as creating invoices and more customer details that I will not go into at this level.
Now that you have chosen the type of account you want to use, fill out the following form with your information. Do not use false data; This could have serious implications, such as lack of verification of your account and total closure of your account.
Then, just read the User Agreement (recommended), click Agree, and create the account. If you follow this process correctly, you will have completed the first part of creating a PayPal account.
I will complete the explanation on an individual account.
Step 2: Activate your PayPal account.
The next screen will be linking your credit card, as shown in the image below. If you have your own credit card (Visa or MasterCard), you can link it here.
Otherwise, if you don’t have the card now, you can safely close that window and follow the steps below.
After completing the initial process, you must activate the account you created. To do this, go to the email inbox.
PayPal will send an activation email to the email address you provided during registration using a link. Check for an email with the subject: “Welcome to PayPal.”
By clicking on the Activate button in the PayPal email, you will be directed to your account, where you must enter the password created upon registration.
After you have successfully entered and confirmed your password, this interface will appear.
Now you must link your credit card to enable PayPal to be able to send and receive money.
Step 3: Link your card with PayPal
By linking your credit card, you are charged a small fee. The amount will be refunded to your account after your card is verified.
You can use any card from your bank, but first, it is recommended to inquire with the bank about the process.
After confirming whether your bank supports PayPal, click on Link Card and you will be transferred to this interface.
As you can see, the interface has two options, linking the bank card and linking the bank account, but which one should you choose?? I always recommend adding the bank card first until the activation is completed and then you can add the bank account with ease.
Now that you have chosen to link the bank card, this interface will appear with you.
Now, all you have to do is put the information on your bank card and click on the link to the card. Approximately $2 will be deducted from the card to ensure that it is working, and then they will return it to your account after approximately two or three days.
Now that you have done all of the above, you have an activated PayPal account and are ready to send and receive money from anywhere in the world.
Now let’s look at how to withdraw money from your PayPal account to your bank card. It is enough to go to your PayPal account and the option to transfer funds will appear with you as shown in the image below.
After clicking on it, you will be transferred directly to this page to choose where you want to receive your money, choose the bank account, and then immediately you will be transferred to choose the bank card of that bank that you linked previously. After you choose the card and press continue, you will be transferred to this interface to Choose the amount you want to transfer, as shown in the image below.
Now all you have to do is write the amount you want and click on Next, then you will be transferred to the confirmation page, just click on confirm and the amount will be transferred to your bank account within 5 days or less.
But as a note, Paypal will deduct 5 dollars from the amount that you wrote, which is a right of Paypal, and 5 dollars will be deducted on a bank transfer.
But only on transfers that are transferred to bank accounts, as for the transactions that occur between you and other people in the PayPal account, fees are calculated for each country. Here is a small overview of PayPal fees.
PayPal
Fees PayPal fees are between 2.4% and 3.9% + $0.30 per transaction, i.e. when you receive money into your PayPal account. A PayPal currency conversion fee of 2.5% above the prevailing exchange rate may apply.
